STONE TAVERN FARM...THE BEST DESTINATION WEDDING LOCATION
Your Subtitle text
WEDDINGS
The Larry Siegel Band, assisted by the legendary Bluegrass Banjo player Bill Keith, rocked the barn June 25, 2011 for the Sobel/Mudrick wedding

The perfect ceremony location on the top of the mountain with a tent or without and a few hay bales for seats.

Cocktail hour following the ceremony at the Waterside Pavilion overlooking water and mountain views with a tent placed in the grass riding ring for the reception and dancing.

The Perfect Wedding Location is here at Stone Tavern  Farm.  It sits in the middle of the Catskill Mountains surrounded by infinite beauty and serenity.
We began to have weddings here in the spring of 2007 after building our Waterside Pavilion for our horse camp.  We can handle almost any size party, up to 400, large or small.  It has become a popular party location for many reasons.  First, the owners love a good party, but more importantly is the setting.  Stone Tavern Horse Farm is nestled in a dead end valley at the end of a dead end road in a valley that is virtually uninhabited.
The 400 acre farm and local area offer everything one could want for a Catskill Mountains vacation.  On site , we offer horseback riding, ATV rides, hiking, fishing, Paintball, the 2nd longest Zipline in NY, a historic stone house B&B, historic barn built in the 1850s, farm pork and beef, camping and plenty of country air and relaxation.  Nearby, you can try mountain biking or mountain golf, river tubing, fly fishing or a little antique shopping.
Begin your grand event Friday with a rehearsal dinner on the Waterside Pavilion with a BBQ with pork and beef from the farm cooked on the grills.  It is exactly what is needed to end the work week and start the good times rolling.
Saturday morning your friends and family have the opportunity to explore the Catskills by horse or ATV.  Picture your family and friends playing a variety of lawn games on the field directly below the Pavilion such as Ladder Ball, Croquet and other fun games.  A couple taking the paddle boat out is always a Kodak moment.
Later that afternoon, have your guests arrive and mingle at the Waterside Pavilion with cocktails and music.
Have your ceremony under the old Maple tree or on top of the mountain with views of endless ranges.
A cocktail party on the Waterside Pavilion is perfect at sunset with a band or DJ after the ceremony.
We will have a bonfire burning on the other side of the pond.  Tiki torches everywhere to light your way.  The stars are so bright up here you would have to see it to believe it.
Have your reception in our 12,000 square foot open barn. It is big enough to seat over 400 people and can be reconfigured to make smaller groups of 75 or more feel cozy .  Party all night/morning long and as loud as you want because we do not close down the fun until the last partier has had enough.  End the night with the after after party hanging around the bonfire.  Top the night off with a spectacular fireworks display.
Begin your first day, Sunday, with a continental breakfast for your guests with a Bloody Mary or Mimosa on the Pavilion and say good-bye to your friends and family.   As they leave, they will all say comments such as "I have been to a lot of weddings but this was the best" and "This place is beautiful, how did you find it?".
Please come and see why we were voted Tourism Business of the year in Delaware County year or give us a call at 607-326-3600.  Thank-you.

The indoor riding ring is 12,000 sq ft and can be adjusted with large hay bales to fit any size party.

Imagine how spectacular your photos will look with the natural backdrop of the Catskill mountains.
