Imagine
horseback riding through the picturesque Catskill Mountains at sunset
with your family and friends. The horses carry you along gentle wooded
paths, across babbling brooks, and past rolling meadows of green. You
arrive at your camp in the evening to a roaring fire with all of your
favorite foods packed in coolers ready for the fire. The camp is situated
by a beautiful mountain stream, surrounded by water on three sides with
breathtaking views of the woods and mountains.Your hosts, John and Danielle
Burrows have done all of the work so you can relax and enjoy the nature
that surrounds you. The only things you need to supply are your clothes
and the desire to be pampered. This isn't like any Dude Ranch you've ever
seen.
If
you prefer, you can ride to the camp on ATV's rather than horseback, but
either way, you are guaranteed a care-free and memorable camping experience!
The pricing for the catered camping experience will vary according to
your special requests.

In
addition to the luxury catered camping experience described above, we
offer three different camping options for you and your family.
Basic
Camping $20 per person
The Stone Tavern has
set aside some of it's most beautiful locations as tent camp sites. You
hike in with your own tent, equipment and food. We will provide firewood.
Standard
Tent $100 per night
This
comfortable tent sleeps up to four people. We will provide you with the
sleeping bags and cooking equipment and firewood. The tent is located
a short hike from parking.
Large
Tent $150 per
night
The
large tent pictured below is provided to you along with sleeping bags
(There is a port-o-potty right outside.) This tent is also located a comfortable
hiking distance from parking.
If
you don't feel like shopping before your camping experience, we will prepare
your meals ready for the campfire at the following rates:
Breakfast:
Fresh pork sausage or bacon along with farm eggs, english muffins, fruit,
juice and coffee for $15 per person
Lunch:
Sandwich, chips, fruit, cookies and a beverage for $15 per person
Dinner:
Steak, potato, corn, salad, smores and beverage for $25 per person
