Our large, spring fed pond has a dock and a sandy beach. A smaller pond is perfect for ice skating in the winter.

When there is no snow on the mountains, Plattekill offers Mountain Biking.
Plattekill Ski Center
is less than two miles from the Stone Tavern Farm. in the winter it offers world class snow skiing.

bever colony living on the stream
that flows through the
Stone Tavern Farm.

 


You will find both Red and Gray fox in the area.

Hiking
 It is less than an hour drive to the foot
of the trail that leads to Katterskill falls,
the tallest two-tiered falls in the state of New York.
It is not unusual to see
large groups of deer grazing
in the meadows on the property
You will never run out of things to do at the Stone Tavern Farm and surrounding area!

The Catskills is a favorite habitat of the
North American Black Bear, too!
